I tried to arrange coverage through an ordinary broker and the insurer wanted to refuse the coverage due to my epilepsy. After getting a letter from my neurologist they wanted 100% loading while still excluding epilepsy from the coverage. That broker told me that was the best offer I would get. Well, Ricky proved that broker wrong and got me Life, TPD and Income Protection without excluding the epilepsy from any of them. The rates were quite reasonable (the Life and TPD about the same as the insurer wanted when excluding epilepsy from the TPD) and did so very quickly and with terrific service.
